INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
Candidates appearing for the GITAM (Deemed to be University) examination are required to strictly observe the following instructions.
1. Candidates will valid identity cards and hall ticket only will be permitted into the examination hall. They should not write any matter on the hall ticket/ identity card/ calculator.
2. Candidates shell not be admitted into the examination hall after 10 minutes of the commencement of the examination and will not be permitted to leave the examination hall
until the end of examination.
3. Answer booklet consists of 24 pages, and no additional answer sheets will be issued.
4. Candidates should carefully fill the relevant columns of Registration No., Examination, Subject, etc., in the space provided on the front page of the answer book and nowhere else on
the answer book in case of a blank OMR Booklet.
5. Candidate with no photo available in the hall-ticket need to affix a recent passport-size photo and get it attested by the respective HoD/HoI.
6. Candidate shell write answers on both side of the page and note that no additional answer books are provided.
7. Question number must be mentioned in the left hand margin only, and Rough work must be done on the right margin of the page.
8. Use only blue/back ball or ink pen for writing answers. Changes in the shade of the Ink during examination has to be got attested by the invigilator.
9. Hand over the answer book to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
10. Candidates should not write any matter, identification mark, appeal, symbol, etc. unrelated to the examination anywhere on the answer book, Violation is treated as malpractice and
liable for disciplinary action.
11. Candidates are prohibited from carrying books, notes, slips, reference material, log tables, scribbling pads, cell phones, programmable calculators, electronic and audio devices etc.
12. Candidates shall be provided with drinking water in the examination hall, no other beverages are permitted.
13. Referring to any material, talking or chatting with others, and violating other protocols during the examination will be considered as malpractice, and action will be taken
accordingly.
14. University has the right to cancel the examination if the student is found to have indulged in any malpractice.
