 2. Candidates should fill the required information in the below format. After filling appropriate information in below sheet, candidate will have to affix the recent passport size photo and put the signature (in presence of invigilator only) below it and submit to
supervisor for checking which the supervisor shall take with him/her.(If you do not return the attendance form to the supervisor your candidature will be cancelled.)
 3. The inviglator shall sign the copy and keep the below part with him/her. If you fail to return the copy of call letter to inviglator, then you will not be eligible for the examination.
 4. The candidate has to appear in the examination room allotted at the prescribed time for appearing in the examination room with the above details. It is mandatory to download Appendix-1 (Instruction Sheet) along with the admission form.
 5. Written exam paper will be in english language only.

INSTRUCTIONS  

(Candidates are advised to read and implement all these instructions.)  

1. A candidate will qualify for the examination based on the information provided by candidate in the online application form. The information and details provided by the candidate on the application form shall be considered true to the best of the knowledge of the candidate.
        a. GMRCL shall permit an applicant to appear for the examination on the basis of preliminary qualification criteria of age and information provided in the online application form. In the event that any discrepancy is found in the application form of an applicant regarding the details
submitted such as gender, age, qualification, etc. at a later stage of the selection process, it shall lead to the disqualification of the candidature of the said candidate.
2. If you are not fulfilling the educational qualification required in the advertisement, you are advised not to appear in this examination.

3. Candidates are required to download the call letter (admission form) from the link available on our website and are mandatorily required to bring the call letter to the examination hall to qualify for appearing in the exam

4. Candidates must carry a valid Government Identity proof such as aadhaar card/ driving license/election card/PAN card/passport, to the examination hall, and they must submit the copy or show the original to the Invigilator/supervisor as and when requested by the examiner/supervisor.

5. The candidate has to carefully fill the Roll No. in OMR system in bubble and in numbers with black / blue ball point pen only. Candidates are requested to read and adhere to the instructions given on the OMR and question paper carefully before beginning the examination.
        a. Candidates shall darken any one correct option from given multiple options, with a blue or black ball point pen. Use of any other writing instrument such as pencil, light ink, correction ink etc. is prohibited. Additionally, candidates are not allowed to use eraser or blade in OMR
Sheet to modify any marked answers.
        b. Candidate must clearly write the numeric value of his/her Roll No. in the OMR answer sheet and the question paper series in English language as prescribed in OMR. Candidate must not use any sign, symbol or alphabet in the space provided for Roll No. The computer shall not
process any defective OMR sheet and cancel the same and the candidate shall be held responsible for such an error.
        c. The candidate must sign the OMR answer sheet in the prescribed place after completion of the examination. Thereafter, the candidate shall ensure that the OMR answer sheet has been counter- signed by Invigilator/Supervisor. Failure to do so shall lead to disqualification of the
candidature of the candidate.
        d. In the event that a candidate darkens more than one circle for a question, the computer will not evaluate the answer and mark the question unanswered.
        e. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been answered by the candidate; ‘one fourth’ (0.25) marks will be deducted. If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no
penalty and not marks for that questions.
        f. The total duration of the exam time shall be 120 minutes.

6. The Candidates must report at the examination center 50 minutes prior to the scheduled time of start of the examination
7. Candidates are not allowed to bring unauthorized books, papers, literature, pagers, mobiles, calculators, electronic gadgets, smart watch etc. in the examination Hall. If any candidate is found with such prohibited items in the examination Hall, their candidature is liable to be cancelled.

8. Candidate shall not be given entry into the examination hall after the commencement of the examination. As this is an objective examination, the candidate is not permitted to leave the examination hall untill the end of the examination period.
9. Candidate may leave the examination hall only after handing over the OMR answer sheet and the call letter to the invigilator / supervisor of the examination. In the event the candidate doesn’t follow the above mentioned instructions, the candidature of the candidate will be disqualified
and the candidate shall be debarred from appearing in any future examinations and shall be liable to be prosecuted under criminal proceedings.
10. After completion of the examination, the candidate will be able to keep the upper half of the Call letter form as well as the question paper.

11. In the OMR sheet, it is strictly prohibited for the candidate to make any other mark including the name, revealing his / her identity. In the event that any violation is found at a later stage, then his/ her candidature will be cancelled.

12. Any request for change of examination center will not be entertained.

13. A Candidate has to appear at the examination center at his own expense/cost and no TA/DA shall be provided for the same.

14. A separate sheet will not be issued for doing rough work. The candidate has to do the rough work in the question paper itself. The candidate will not be allowed to bring a separate paper for any rough work.
15. In order to appear in the examination hall, the candidate has to affix a self-attested photo on the call letter, otherwise he / she will not be allowed to sit in this examination. It is mandatory to paste the same photo as uploaded by him/her in the online application.
16. If a candidate is found to be committing any form of cheating, misconduct, indiscipline etc., then in addition to disqualification of the candidature, the candidate will also be liable to face any disciplinary action including criminal action deemed fit by GMRCL, including debarment from
appearing in any future government examinations.
17. Receiving a call letter for the written examination does not qualify the candidate for appointment.

18. In the interim stage till the completion of the entire recruitment process, any application/request related to marks, results or rechecking application or any other matter related to the written examination will not be considered.

19. Candidates are advised to visit our website Careers - GMRC (gujaratmetrorail.com) for regular updates on the recruitment process. No other separate communication will be sent separately to the candidates

20. Only candidate at the examination venue will be allowed to enter the premises. No other persons other than candidate will be allowed to enter the premises.

21. Every candidate must wear a face mask, as well as maintain social distance.

22. All candidates are advised to carry sanitizer and sanitize their hands before entering the exam for their own safety.

23. Candidate must follow appropriate COVID-19 guidelines issued by the state government.
