OpenRoads Modeling Core Skills Accreditation
- What is It and Who is it For?

 The OpenRoads Modeling Core Skills accreditation


is a fundamental level verification of OpenRoads
Designer knowledge and skills as it relates to the
tools found in the OpenRoads Modeling workflow.
 It consists of an online skills assessment that tests
your knowledge in key areas of the software such
as: Interface, Terrain, Geometry, Superelevation,
Templates, Corridor Modeling, Model Detailing,
Earthwork, Civil Cells and Drawing Production.
 It is intended for users with 60+ hours of
professional experience using OpenRoads Designer
on road design projects.

 Basics of Navigating the Interface
 Knowledge of Terrain Modeling
 Creating Horizontal and Vertical Geometry
 Defining Superelevation
 Using Templates
 Defining and Using Corridors
 Placing Civil Cells
 Generating Earthwork Quantities
 Creating Plan and Profile Sheets
 Creating Cross Section Sheets

• Successfully complete the Skills Assessment with a passing score of 75% or better
