Subject: Request for Leave of Absence to Seek Public Office

Dear Fr. Dennis:

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request a leave of absence from my
duties as a Member of Ministry of Altar Servers and as External Vice President of
Commission on Youth at St. James the Apostle Parish, effective from September 2 of this year.
The purpose of this leave is to enable me to pursue a position in public office, specifically,
Sangguniang Kabataan Kagawad of Baranggay San Vicente.

It has always been my aspiration to serve our community in a broader capacity, and I believe that
by taking on a role in public office, I can help bring about positive changes that reflect the values
and principles we uphold as a church. It is my commitment to be a voice for justice, compassion,
and truth in the political arena. I have prayed extensively about this decision, and I feel that it's a
path God is calling me to embark upon.

While I continue to be dedicated to St. James the Apostle Parish, I feel it is important for me to
take a break from my church responsibilities in order to focus and commit fully to this new
endeavor. I understand the significance of my role within our church community and I am ready
to assist with the transition process so that our church activities can continue smoothly during my
absence.

My unwavering commitment to serving our church community remains strong. I eagerly

anticipate resuming my duties and responsibilities once again in the future pending your
approval. I kindly request your understanding, prayers and support as I embark on this phase of
my life. Not do I believe that this journey will bring benefits to our local community but it will
also provide me with valuable experiences and insights that can be shared with our church
community upon my return.
