The story unfolds with the introduction of Billy Moore, a renowned British kickboxer residing in

Bangkok, Thailand. Billy lives with his close friend, who is also a kickboxer. However, his
reputation in the ring is overshadowed by his involvement in the illegal distribution of yaba, a
potent drug known to cause extreme behavioral changes. Despite being a user of the drug
himself, Billy continues to distribute it, ultimately making him a wanted man by the local
authorities. One fateful day, Billy enters the ring for a kickboxing match, but having consumed
yaba beforehand, he loses control and forces the match to be stopped.

On another ominous night, Billy is being followed by the police while on his way to distribute
yaba at a nightclub. The following morning, the police raid his home, leaving Billy with no other
option but to hide his drugs in a very unconventional place, his anus. But with the police already
having gathered substantial evidence against him, Billy is unable to escape their clutches. He is
examined and subsequently thrown into the notorious Klong Prem prison, where dangerous
criminals and gangsters are sentenced to death.

Inside the confines of the prison walls, Billy finds himself in the company of a warden who is
aware of his history as a drug dealer and user. Shockingly, the warden informs Billy that he can
still access drugs if he wants to, as the warden is in the business of selling drugs to inmates.

Billy's time in Klong Prem prison starts with a rude awakening as he sleeps next to a deceased
inmate in the general cell. He soon realizes the harsh reality of the prison's conditions, with
inmates being crammed together in narrow rooms, wearing only pants without clothes. He is
made aware of the strict rules in the prison, including prohibitions against smoking, getting
tattoos, and fighting with fellow prisoners.

During lunch one day, Billy is jostled by other inmates trying to get their food, causing him to
lose his temper and engage in a fight. This incident results in him being moved to a cramped
solitary confinement cell with his feet chained by prison authorities. To make matters worse, he
is then transferred to a cell occupied by notoriously cruel inmates, as the guards now see him as a
troublemaker in the prison.

Upon arriving at his new cell, Billy finds himself subjected to discrimination from other
prisoners due to being the only foreigner. He is repeatedly ordered to do push-ups until he
decides to fight back and intimidate the troublemakers. As a result, he gains the respect of the
gangsters in the cell, who consider him one of their own. They even invite him to smoke yaba, a
drug that is widely available and hidden by many gangsters in the cell.

One night, Billy witnesses several inmates harassing another prisoner while he is going to the
bathroom. He is threatened not to report this to the prison, and he realizes that this kind of
behavior is a common occurrence in Klong Prem prison.

The following day, a shocking discovery was made at the prison. The inmate who had been
mistreated and witnessed by Billy had taken his own life due to the loss of his self-esteem. Billy
was devastated by this news and sought out medication from the prison warden who was
distributing it for free. However, the warden refused to give Billy the medication for free and
demanded payment. This act of discrimination triggered an angry outburst from Billy, who then
proceeded to harm a prison officer. As a result, Billy was beaten severely by several warders,
causing head injuries.

In the aftermath of the incident, a canteen officer named Fame showed kindness towards Billy by
offering medical treatment. However, when Billy regained consciousness, he found his legs had
been restrained, and the warden instructed him to return to his cell. Outside, Billy was greeted by
a group of inmates who were excitedly shouting derogatory names at the prison canteen workers
who were transgender.

Billy noticed one of the canteen workers walking by and realized it was the same person who
had previously helped him when he was injured. Filled with gratitude, he visited Fame at the
canteen and thanked her. However, he also had an ulterior motive. He needed cigarettes as a
form of payment to get better treatment and a more comfortable bed in the prison. Fame, feeling
sorry for Billy, provided him with cigarettes, and he promised to pay her back once his family
sent him money.

One night, a mysterious murder occurred within the prison, causing the wardens to wake up all
the inmates in Billy's cell block for questioning. Despite the intense interrogation, no one
confessed to the crime. As a result, all the inmates, including Billy and his gang, were subjected
to a thorough search.
During the search, the wardens discovered a packet of yaba in front of Billy, and he immediately
denied any ownership of the drugs. Fortunately, the wardens believed his innocence and
punished the inmate standing next to him instead. Billy could hear the screams of the punished
inmate, leaving him fearful and shaken.

Days later, Billy found himself becoming addicted to yaba and sought out the warden who had
previously offered him the drugs. However, the warden refused to give him any for free and
demanded that Billy take care of a Muslim cook whom the warden held a grudge against. With
no other choice, Billy was forced to beat up the cook. This incident led to the discovery that the
warden was behind all the murders in the prison and had been using yaba as a tool to control
inmates. The warden eventually confronted Billy and scolded him, revealing that he only
intended for the cook to be beaten, not critically injured.

Following the incident, Billy was consumed by guilt and regret. He recognized that his addiction
to yaba had made him lose control of his behavior, and he contemplated ending his life by
cutting his veins. However, another inmate discovered his plan and intervened by calling for
help.

The next day, Billy received a visit from a fellow kickboxer who had won a local tournament.
Hearing the news left Billy speechless, as he envisioned himself becoming a champion had he
not succumbed to drug use.

Following a visit from his friend, Billy's passion for kickboxing was reignited, and he made up
his mind to join the muay thai team in prison. His goal was to channel his cravings for yaba and
pursue his dream of becoming the greatest fighter.

After some time, the prison authorities removed the chains from Billy's legs, and he wasted no
time in heading to the muay thai training ground. However, upon his arrival, he was stopped at
the gate by a trainer who refused to allow foreigners to learn the martial art.

After visiting Fame's place to return a pack of cigarettes he borrowed, Billy attempted to pull a
fast one on her. He claimed he would repay all his debts once he won the inter-prison muay thai
tournament, even though Fame knew he was lying. Despite this, Fame felt sorry for Billy and
continued to give him cigarettes.
Determined to pursue his dream, Billy made his way back to the muay thai training ground. This
time, he tried to bribe the coach with a pack of cigarettes he had gotten from Fame. The coach
initially resisted, but upon seeing Billy's unwavering determination to learn, he finally relented
and allowed Billy to train with him.

As time went on, Billy began to make a name for himself in the ring, impressing the muay thai
coach with his skills and earning the chance to compete against more seasoned athletes.

A few days later, Billy returned to Fame's place, determined to repay all his debts. As he handed
over the cigarettes, he couldn't help but ask why Fame had shown him such kindness. Her
answer was simple yet profound: she knew that beneath his addiction, Billy was a good person.
Hearing these words from Fame stirred something deep within Billy, and he found himself
opening up to her in a way he never had before.

After a brief hiatus, Billy returned to training with renewed vigor, impressing his coach with his
dedication and skill. However, his progress was threatened when he was pitted against a
notorious cheater in the ring. In the brutal match, Billy suffered a severe ear injury that required
stitches. Despite the setback, Billy refused to let go of his dream of becoming a muay thai
champion.

As he recuperated, Billy received a surprise visit from the warden, who informed him of his
transfer to a special facility where he could train full-time as a muay thai athlete. The warden
recognized Billy's potential and saw an opportunity for him to represent the prison in the
upcoming inter-prison tournament. To Billy's amazement, the warden also handed him a letter
from his long-lost father, who had been searching for him all this time.

As Billy bid farewell to his cellmates, he was transferred to a special room that offered better
living conditions and cleaner facilities. He soon settled into a rigorous training routine and
formed close bonds with the other residents of the muay thai room.

Over time, Billy's dedication and skill in the ring earned him the nickname White Tiger among
his fellow fighters, a reference to the tiger tattoo on his body that symbolized his unique fighting
spirit. As he focused on his training, Billy also managed to overcome his addiction to yaba and
began visiting Fame to share his feelings of longing.
Billy's life took a turn for the worse when he discovered that Fame was cheating on him with
another prisoner. He was heartbroken and challenged her to a fight, but the pain led him to
relapse and start using yaba again. His addiction impacted his performance in the ring, and he
became aggressive and uncontrollable, leading the guards to put him in solitary confinement.

However, Billy managed to get himself back on track and focused on his upcoming tournament.
He returned to the muay thai room, but his opponent from their previous fight beat him up as
punishment for Billy's earlier behavior. This incident made Billy realize his mistake, and he
apologized to the inmate.

Billy's determination to win the inter-prison muay thai tournament was tested when his old
cellmates approached him, demanding all the yaba and cigarettes he had used in their cell.
Despite his reluctance, Billy promised to pay them back after winning the tournament. With this
burden, he trained even harder to prepare for the fight. However, things took a turn for the worse
when he was diagnosed with an inflammatory stomach disease, which was caused by his drug
use and intense training. The doctor advised him to take a break and withdraw from the
tournament, but Billy was determined to push through the pain and compete anyway.

On the day of the big match, Billy was preparing to take on a fierce opponent from another
prison. This wasn't like any ordinary fight, it was a muay thai fight, and there were no selection
rounds, only one final performance. Billy prayed and readied himself for the battle ahead.

Once in the ring, Billy showed great strength and skill, even though he felt immense pain when
his opponent landed a punch to his stomach. Despite this setback, Billy used all the techniques
and ring mastery he had learned to gain momentum, and eventually knocked his opponent down
for a knockout victory. However, at the same time, Billy was also knocked down due to a relapse
of his stomach ulcers. Tournament organizers quickly rushed him to the nearest hospital.

When Billy regained consciousness, he was in a treatment room and was warned by a nurse to
rest. But he couldn't resist the urge to escape and, without thinking, made a run for it, despite his
chained feet. He wandered aimlessly until he found himself standing on the railroad tracks.
There, he contemplated his life and realized he had the option to end it all right then and there.
But he knew he wanted to turn things around and start fresh. So, he made the difficult decision to
return to the hospital and face the consequences of his actions.

As the credits roll, the final scene shows Billy back in his prison cell, but he has a smile on his
face, a contrast to the despondency he had been feeling before. His father had come to visit him,
and that brief moment of familial love had given him hope.

Fast forward three years, and Billy had made a name for himself as a top-notch muay thai
athlete. Finally, he received word that he was being transferred to a prison in the United
Kingdom. And to his surprise, he was also granted parole by the King of Thailand in October
2010.

Moral lesson that we can take from this movie is, to avoid drugs because they can lead to severe
consequences and choose to be kind even in the face of adversity. If in a difficult situation, have
the courage to speak up and do the right thing.
