Phase 1

Paired work:
1. Each group will describe their partner using the questions guide and have at least 10 complete
sentences in Mandarin language.
2. Each group must use the vocabulary words and grammatical structures learned in lesson 13 to 15.
3. Each group can select music that is appropriate and suitable as background music.
4. Each group must turn in a script outlining who is wearing what outfits, what music is being played and
what description is being said.
5. Each group will receive an individual grade.

Questions guide:

Written task:
Write the script about your partner. In your script include the following.
a. his/her name, age, grade level, nationality
b. where he/she lives
c. how he/she looks like
d. describe the clothes he/she is wearing

Example: 他叫大生。 他是中国人。他今年十二岁, 上七年级。他们一家人住在

马尼拉。大生长得不高也不矮。他有短头发，小眼睛和小嘴巴。
他今天穿蓝色的衬衫，白色的短裤和 蓝色的运动鞋。谢谢大生！

Final presentations: You have to wear the clothes in the script you have made
and your partner will introduce you.
