- features include: fixed half moon blade front sight and a groove or notch in the top strap for a rear sight; round barrel; solid top iron or brass receiver/frame with
removable fluted cylinder, irregular shaped inspection plate on the left side, and loading slot on the right side; two stage cylinder axis pin with one pin inside the outer axis
pin; exposed spurred hammer; sheathed spur trigger, single action trigger mechanism; bird's head grip strap; wood grip plates.
- these revolvers can be loaded manually through a slot in the right side of the recoil shield, but must have the cylinder removed to eject empty cases.
