ABOUT VGU
Vivekananda Global University offers a globally recognised education system and curriculum to prepare you

Such Management Competitions provide a platform for students to exhibit their managerial
talent by participating in various events crafted to showcase their skills, share their thoughts,
and be part of various activities. It is an amalgamation of various events under the Marketing,
HR, and Finance field to bring out the best in participants under controlled and simulated
environments.
Objectives :
1. To test the managerial skills of the students in various functional domain.
2. To provide a platform to promote healthy competition among the budding professionals of
our country.
3. To bring out the competitive spirit of students and test their business acumen, skills, and
knowledge.
PANACHE - 13
19th, 20th & 21st March 2023
VGU's annual cultural festival, PANACHE '13, concluded on a high note on the 21st of March, 2023. The three-
day festival, which began on the 19th of March, 2023, was a resounding success and was attended by a large
number of students, faculty members, and other dignitaries. One of the main highlights of the festival was the
Dream Note band's performance and mesmerizing performance by the popular singer and songwriter, Shirley
Setia. Thousands of students cheered rapturously as Setia and the band enthralled the crowd with their top-notch
performance PANACHE '13 provided a platform for students from various academic streams to showcase their
talents in various fields. The fest saw a wide variety of events. Events in the fest were full of performances by
different departments of the university, in which the cultural diversity of the country was showcased as the
students, clad in ethnic dresses, exhibited their artistic skills. The members of the faculty also took part in the
ethnic walk-in, wearing attire from different states.
There were over 40 events in which students and faculty could take part. Trophies were given to the winners in
different categories like the Overall Rolling Trophy, Best Ethnic Team, Highest Participation, Best Cheerleader,
Best Discipline, and 9 Best Category Trophies, as well as cash prizes worth INR 1,54,000. It was a great chance for
the students to unleash their passion and creativity. Fashion gives meaning to ethnicity, and ethnicity gives us an
identity. There was a special Ethnic Day on March 17 that was packed with a number of exciting events. There
were a number of competitions like photography, vlogging, dance, music, a fashion walk, traditional eateries, etc.
On Ethnic Day, students from Nepal, Sudan, and various Indian states represented their countries. There were
different types of dance too, like classical, folk, western,and dance battle. There was a tough competition for music,
too. There were different genres of music, like rap, classical, the war of the DJs, etc. PANACHE '13 was a
testament to the commitment of Vivekananda Global University towards the holistic development of its students.
The festival provided a platform for students to explore their interests, develop their skills, and gain exposure to a
wide range of academic, professional, and cultural experiences.
Time Limit:
• 90 Minute to prepare presentation
• 5 minute to present final presentation
• Participants have to carry waste materials which has to be transformed to a utility-based item, and all
needed items (cutting items, decorative items, adhesives like glue, cello tapes, etc.)

Basic Rules and regulations:
a. Only one member from each team can participate in JAM.
b. Each participant will be given a topic on-the-spot, with no preparation time and the speaking time shall be of 1
minute.
c. Topics would be picked by the participants from a bowl of chits.
d. The buzzer will be pressed twice. Once when 45 seconds have passed and second at the end of one minute,
signalling the participants that their turn is over.
e. You have to speak on a given topic for one minute without stopping.
f. You cannot repeat the same word or phrase more than once, except for common words like articles,
prepositions, and conjunctions.
g. You cannot change the topic or go off-topic. You have to stick to the main idea and give relevant information or
opinions.
h. You cannot hesitate or pause for too long. You have to keep talking until the time is up.

Theme:
• The treasure hunt consists of 5 stages of clues leading to the ultimate treasure location.
• Team must choose a unique and creative group name during registration.
• The treasure hunt will take place within the designated area on the university campus.
• The event coordinator has right to make any necessary changes to the rule or format.
• Team must not interfere with other team or team with clue placement.
• Cheating or disrespectful behavior is strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate disqualification.
• Game format: Coordinator will give you the first clue. You have to solve the first clue and take selfie with the
treasure (the faces of all your team member should be visible in the selfie) and then meet the coordinator for the
next clue. Solve the next clue you have to take selfie and come to coordinator for next clue. In the fourth stage you
will find a clue card for the final stage. In final stage there will be three flags, whichever team brings the flag that
team are the winners. (According to the sequence of the flag the position will be decided.)

Reason for disqualification: Violation of rules, cheating, or proper code of conduct should lead to elimination of
candidate.
a. The decision of creative design master will be final and not be subjected for any change.
b. The participants should bring their mobile phones or any other electronic devices which are helpful in creative
design.
e. The design should not be copied from anyone and subject to intellectual property.
Time limit- Only 45 minutes will be provided to the teams to complete their dishes.
Disqualification- Participants will be disqualified from the activity if they are found to have plagiarized their idea,
or if they violate any of the other rules and regulations.
Confidentiality- Participants must keep all information about the activity confidential until the event is over.
Criteria of judgement- Evaluation will be based on the taste of the dish, cleanliness and presentation, nutritional
level, and unique name of the dish.
No. of Participants: Teams must consist of minimum number of 1 and maximum of 6 members.
Theme: The theme for “ideathon” will be related to management. This could be anything from innovation in
business models to solving real-world management challenges.
Time Limit: Each participant will have a time limit of 15 minutes to present their ideas. Please ensure that they
stay within this timeframe to keep the event on schedule.
Judging Criteria:
a. Language and Communication: Language of presentation need to be clear, concise, and engaging. The
presenters should get to the point quickly and avoid rambling. They should also use visuals to help illustrate
their points and make their presentations more engaging.
b. Originality: Emphasize the importance of original ideas. The ideas should be original and not copied from
existing sources. Participants should avoid submitting ideas that have already been implemented or widely
discussed.
c. Innovativeness: The degree to which the idea is new and original.
d. Feasibility: The likelihood that the idea can be implemented successfully.
e. Impact: The potential impact that the idea could have on society.
Disqualification: Prohibit plagiarism and make it clear that all ideas must be the original work of the
participants. Participants will be disqualified from Ideathon if they are found to have plagiarized their idea, or if
they violate any of the other rules and regulations.
