Subject: Regarding the opinion on the establishment of Global Navigation Satellite System
(GNSS) Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS).
Source: Ref No. 212 dated 18/11/2018 of the Surveyor General of Bangladesh.

In reference to the above-mentioned subject and source, the Deputy Coordinator, Youth Training
Center, Gaibandha, Gaibandha District, has been requested for an opinion on the installation of
the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Continuously Operating Reference Station
(CORS) on the rooftop of the academic building of Gaibandha Sadar Upazila, Gaibandha.An
opinion has been provided on the installation of GNSS CORS on the rooftop of the academic
building of Gaibandha Sadar Upazila Youth Training Center (a copy attached). With unanimous
support for this opinion, it is recommended to bring the matter to your attention and take
necessary actions accordingly.
