ORDER:

In the 0.0.s 1st to 4th read above, Government have issued

comprehensive guidelines for development of well-planned MIG Layouts
/ Jagananna Smart Townships in the Urban Development areas of the State by
the Development Authorities in the State.
2. In the reference 5th cited above, the Metropolitan Commissioner,
Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA}, has
.;,
addressed below mentioned issues arose while implementation of MIG Project
·~· and requested the Government to issue suitable guidelines/necessary
instructions in the matter.

(i) Where Development of MIG Layout in each Assembly Constituency is not

feasible
(ii) Employees who are recently ordered to serve in other districts due to
district reorganization
(iii) Allotment of other size plots (which are not falling in MIG I, II & III
categories]

3. Government after careful examination of the above matter hereby issue

common instructions, as hereunder:

(i) In case of bigger ULBs/ULBs whose jurisdictions spreads over more

than one assembly constituency {list annexed), it is difficult to identify
lands and develop MIG layouts at affordable prices in each of the
assembly constituency due to complete urban nature and abnormal
land costs. Hence, it is decided that the MIG layouts developed in one of
the constituency or in adjacent constituencies need to be mapped as one
unit, on a case-to-case basis, with prior approval of SLC,
{ii) In the interest of better administration and balanced development of the
area, Government have carved and re-organized 13 districts to 26
districts in the State. Accordingly, the staff was allotted to the other
districts in the State. Because of these shift, there will. be an impact on
the allotment of plots under MIG Layouts. Hence, the request can be
considered for the employees allotted to other Districts as residents of
the previous district for the purpose of allotment of plots under MIG
Layouts.

(iii} As per the guidelines, the MIG plots are categorized in three different
sizes i.e. 150 Sq.yds (33X401, 200 Sq.yds (36'X50'} and 240 sq.yds
(36X6oi. There are certain plots which are varying with the standard
measurements, extents due to non-regular sides/shape of the land etc.
Since, the disposal of other category of Plots is not specified in the MIG
guidelines, the Urban Deve1opment Authorities is permitted to dispose
these plots as per the existing Urban Development Authority guidelines.

ORDER:
In the G.0.s 1st to 4th read above, Gov~rrunent have issued
comprehensive guidelines for development of well-planned MIG Layouts
/Jagananna Smart Townships in the Urban Development areas of the State by
the Development Authorities in the State.
2. In the reference 5th cited above, the Special Officer. MIG Project has
requested the Government: to. constitute District Level Committee (DLC) and
delegate the responsibilities to the District Level Committee (DLC) Le., taking
appropriate decisions on selection of site, fixing up Sale Price of Plot etc.,
3. Accordingly, the Government after careful examination of the matter
here by constitute District Level Committee with the following members, with
the task offixing the upset price/sale price of MIG Plots only.
