PLAZA DE BOLÍVAR: THE

The Plaza de Bolívar is the main square in Bogotá, Colombia. It is an important place in the
history of the city, as it was the place where Colombia's independence from the Spanish Empire
was proclaimed in 1810. The square is located in the historic center of the city and is a popular
place for tourists and locals alike.

-It is crucial when talking about a better world and place that

different places and lives, therefore I consider that "Plaza de Bolivar"
is a place where the difference we want to make can be reflected.

 CHORRO DE QUEVEDO
PLAZA
This open space in the neighborhood of La Candelaria,it is
believed that Bogotá was founded in Chorro de Quevedo Plaza
on August 6, 1538.where you will find a doctrinal chapel,
can be reached by an old narrow, cobblestone street called Calle del Embudo
(Funnel Street).

The square is popular with

street performers and a
meeting place for college
students.

The square takes its name from the
stream of water that runs through
the center of it, known as "Chorro
de Quevedo"

Meeting point
For artists, writers, musicians and
students. Many urban legends and
anecdotes are associated with
this place.

Reflection
As a reflection from the Business Administration
career you can contribute to the change in the
Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo in the following ways:
Camila: I liked doing this work because I got to know more
about these two locations, and at the same time discovering
vocabulary to develop the infographic. During the job what I
learned the most was to see the problems of the places and to
be more concrete in English and in turn I would like to improve
in this. Taking into account the willingness and dedication to
use well the connectors, times, etc. My rating is 9.

-Promote responsible and sustainable tourism.
-Promote collaboration between the community
and companies.
-Promote corporate social responsibility practices.
-Raise awareness about the environmental impact
and cleanliness of the area.
These actions can help improve the quality
of life of the community and preserve
the history and culture of the place.
Valeria: I feel satisfied with this work that I do. I was able to
access very valuable information, I learned about the history of
Colombia and to be more creative.
I think I need to improve my ability to comprehend, read
carefully and look for more vocabulary in English that can help
me with my homework.
I would rate my work 9 out of 10. I am satisfied with my work,
but I know that I can improve.
