Ans- Owl felt a little sad at the seashore because everything was dark.
2. Why did Owl not want the moon to come home with him?

Ans- Owl did not want the moon to come home with him because he thought that his house was small. He thought
that the moon would not fit through the door.

Ans- Owl says this line.

Ans- The moon is a good friend to the speaker.

c. Do you agree with the speaker? Why or why not?

Ans-No, because the moon is not really a friend to Owl. The moon cannot hear or talk to Owl. The moon is just doing
what it does in the night for everyone.

4. Why was Owl not sad anymore?

Ans- Owl was not sad anymore because his friend the moon was shining outside his window. The moon had filled his
room with light.

Measurement of Weight

➢ To find out how heavy an object is we must find its weight.


➢ We weigh an object with the help of a balance or a weighing machine.
➢ Standard units of weight are grams and kilograms.
➢ A gram is used to weigh light objects. In short, it is written as ‘g’.
➢ Heavy things like fruits, vegetables, sack of rice or wheat, etc., are
measured in kilograms. In short, it is written as Kg.
➢ 1 Kg=1000g

Find the weight of the mustard seeds along with the bag.

b. Do not bang hard on the keyboard while typing.
c. Handle the mouse gently and use mouse pad.

2. Should you plug/unplug electrical cables? Why?


Ans. We should not plug/unplug electrical cables because we may suffer from an electric shock.

3. What will you do when your computer does not start up?
Ans. We will follow the correct procedure for start-up and close-down.
