Good day everyone!

For my presentation, this is under Bright Idea with a title

Acceptance of stain appearance on Camera Area for IPH11 (OEM)

For the background for this idea.

Our inline inspection received units of IPH11 OEM with stain on camera area, where
in we
validated that the possible cause of stain was the blue protective film, as the
appearance
of stain is the same po with the marking on protective film covering the camera
bezel. We tried
to cleaned it but most of the stain cannot be removed using clean cloth with IPA.

So since in our current situation po, we dont have acceptance criteria

for the stain appearance specific on camera area, so once it was visible during
inspection and may take negative impact units po will be failed since it was
beyond on our PQS or the product quality standards.

To further check on how many units will be affected by the stain, we conducted
screening activity
and from 1576 units inspected total of 1470pcs were affected of stain with
corresponding
estimated cost of $ 289,413.60 US.

Since the units po were already out of warranty these cannot process back to APA
RMA
and it is also needed by Jan 2022 build plan,
I suggest to evaluate the stain condition to stretch its criteria as accept. To
proceed po
if the suggestion is feasible we requested for reliability test to check if the
stain will propagate ,
and as result it shows favorable response and no propogation of stain found on
sample units.
Then in parallel we also send samples to US to check if they will also accept the
condition of stain.
And with the 9pcs samples we sent, TLC approved and accept the appearance of
stain.With that po
Upon receiving the acknowledgement from TLC we generate SQA as temporary reference
while we are waiting for the permanency of criteria to SPEC-011-2146
or the documented reference for APA Enclosure Inspection criteria this is to
immediately
release the 1,470pcs units won hold at MRB as usable parts. And now po, for status
of documentation
SPEC-011-2146 APA enclosure inspection criteria was already updated last Jan 25,
2022.

This BI has finance validated cost of avoidance of $22000 US with reference to +-

500 units commit for Jan 2022.
