SCOOP BATH – Observation-Pre-Fabricated Bucket Elevator:

The bucket elevator is supposed to be erected on12 no’s foundation
bolts along with the nuts & washer fixed with it. But as per present
condition it had been erected on 6 no. foundation bolts along with
nuts& washer fixed with it only because among 12 no foundation
bolts at its base frame/plate 6 no bolts are fouling with the adjacent
vertical portion of the bucket elevator. The gap between those 6
bolts & edge of the vertical structure is not enough for fixing nut
along with the washer at those 6 positions. Now since the structure
of the bucket elevator is heavy so it is very much risky from safety
point of view to erect such heavy structure on 6 bolts instead of 12.
In this situation, we need the advice of the design department of
M/s.Wevin to resolve this issue ASAP. The painting of the bucket
elevator is found rusted also.
NOTE: We request the customer to respond/comment upon the doubt/dissatisfaction (if any) vis-à-vis above written observation(s) on or before 48 hours of its issuance, Alternatively, the report will be considered as “acknowledged”.
