Sound intensity, also known as
acoustic intensity, is defined as the
power carried by sound waves per

PITCH
The pitch of a sound is how high or
low the sound is. A high sound has
a high pitch and a low sound has a
low pitch.

QUALITY
Sound "quality" or "timbre" describes
those characteristics of sound which allow
the ear to distinguish sounds which have
the same pitch and loudness. Timbre is
then a general term for the
distinguishable characteristics of a tone.
