Rationale:
Health practices are actions intended to protect, promote and maintain optimal
health & well-being. In a community, its residents would usually share similarities in
terms of their practices & knowledge about health maintenance & disease prevention.
The understanding of individual knowledge of the disease and health behavior plays an
important role in disease prevention, and in improving occupational health and safety
(Arbiol, J. et al., 2016). Furthermore, according to Maclean et al. (2004), health practices
have an impact on subjective views of health and different health outcomes for
individuals and families.
