01:Free Taiwan. It is not a standalone scenario; you will need the original ‘Free

This is a conversion document that serves to introduce the Shadow Hack rules
by converting an existing Shadowrun ‘Mission’ to Cortex Plus. This means that
you can test the rules and see how they compare to the original Shadowrun
rules for speed, style and ease of use.
This is not a complete document though and you will need a copy of SMH
2012-01:Free Taiwan mission that is freely available at

Follow the advise on page 2 of the Mission. As is always the case with
published missions, take time to understand each of scenes works and how
they flows into the next.
To use this Hack with the mission, the best approach is to print both
documents, use the original but include this hack for the game statistics.
The changes to the original mission are documented for each scene so you can
insert them into the original as appropriate.

Area Attack: Against multiple opponents, for every additional target
add a d6 and keep an additional effect die.
Fetish: Shutdown this SFX to step up or double a magic trait for one
action. Recover by activating an opportunity.
