FRAMEWORK EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME (FEP; state level)
• the highest level of education in the Czech Republic (+ the project National Programme for
the Development of Education); for pupils from 3 to 19 years of age
– The National Education Programme defines education as a whole
– the framework programs then define binding "frameworks" for individual stages of
education
• The FEP stipulates in particular:
– specific objectives, forms, duration and compulsory content of education, its organizational
structure, professional profile, conditions of teaching and completion of education and
principles for the creation of school educational programs
– conditions for the education of pupils with special educational needs and the necessary
material, personnel, organizational and health and safety conditions.
• = system of curricular documents – two levels, the state level and the school level.
MAIN DOCUMENTS
SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME
• based on FEP; ndividual schools create their School Educational Programmes (SEP)
• the content of education – organized into subjects or modules
• The SEP stipulates in particular:
– specific learning objectives,
– length, forms, content and schedule of education,
– conditions for the admission of applicants, the course and completion of education,
including the conditions for the education of pupils with special educational needs,
– proof of completed education, if this document is issued.
– it also provides a description of material, personnel and economic conditions,
– the occupational safety and health conditions under which the training takes place in a particular
school or school facility.

• depending on the field of study can be carried out at
school as well (Stone Sculpture)

• students work on professional contracts from the
private sector under the guidance of teachers during
their studies

• workshops held with external teachers and
practitioners
• lectures on topics close to the fields of studies led by
external experts
• excursions – galleries and architectural sites (in the
CR and abroad), industrial enterprises, professional
studios etc.
