How confident are you with your chosen strand? Does strand discrimination affect the way you
value your studies? Entering Senior High School is one of the curriculums that students need to take for
them to be prepared before entering College. Indeed, it is one of those helps that students need if he or
she is not prepared and undecided on what course they need to take, but as this type of curriculum
progress and is introduced to the public various comparisons also surface making the learners value those
opinions regarding strand discrimination. Each strand has its specialization and uniqueness suitable for the
courses that certain students wanted to take in college, therefore this kind of topic shouldn't even be
brought up because these strands have their way of building a student's knowledge and skills in the new
phase that they are going to take shortly.

Choosing the right strand is not an easy decision for it takes a lot of thinking and consideration the choices
that students create today will also affect their future undertakings and this strand discrimination would have a big
impact on a student's choices if it persists. Therefore, by creating a website that aims to stop strand discrimination,
we must show the reasons why one's strand is as important as everyone else's strand. Looking back I realized that
I am also one of the students who gets affected by this strand discrimination, letting me consider the strand that I
would be taking up, but in my case, it play a significant role because I was able to reflect on the chances that I
would be taking and here I am now in the last school year of this Senior High School curriculum while taking up
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as my strand. People sought to see the other strand as an
easy and bearable one compared to other strands that they see as superior and hard to accomplish, but that
shouldn't be the case because every strand shares its fair share of difficulties and manageable aspects, which I
aim to promote in my website making each student see that those strands will stand out based on their uniqueness
and those students who chose to stand not minding the strand discrimination will witness on how that essence will
unfold in front of their eyes. Moreover, my website will also aim to teach students the meaning behind every strand
and where those strands specialize making them realize what strand fits them better, the website will answer the
questions suitable for each strand and reasons why should a student take that certain strand will also be known.
Most times, one of the reasons why discrimination is taken up is due to the lack of information that most people
have regarding these strands. Therefore, this website will also focus on making these people be informed on the
right knowledge regarding these strands because if the right information was spread and taught to people then
their eyes would be open to the reality of why a strand has its beauty in its way. Students need to choose the right
Senior High School strand for them, therefore an encouragement and rightful teachings are suitable for them,
accordingly this website will also share various experiences and learnings coming from Senior High School
students also leading to a website full of experiences that would teach lessons to Senior High School students.
Sharing real experiences in this kind of issue on my website will create a path to changing things and giving light to
these kinds of issues. At times people choose to create negativity rather than encouragement and positivity,
especially for the youth who are building their future, this kind of norm must be stopped, and creating a website
with facts and real information will be one of those ways in ending this continuous cycle of strand discrimination.

It is scary to see how a certain issue could shatter the dreams of a student who is just building their goals,
therefore this kind of continuous backlash must come to an end. Creating a website that would promote equality
regarding these strands will open the mind and souls of everyone who wants to see a better future in their life.
Being well informed regarding this matter is as important as choosing the right strand in every student. Taking
lessons and learning from the experiences of others will create a way in ending this continuous cycle. May this
website be a way that would solve issues regarding strand discrimination and promote the equality that would not
only support a student's strand, but also its goals in coming through the doors of success. A single choice would
create a big impact on their dreams therefore this single website will be their zone in keeping their feet on the right
track, making a way towards the future of recognition and accomplishments.
