DIRECTOR
Greetings everyone I am the director of group one besides me is my co-
director and to-day we’re going to present our play, our play is about
the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare a summarize
play by group one.
Romeo and Juliet Is a play written by the English playwright William
Shakespeare. It was published for the first time in 1597. Romeo and
Juliet Is probably the most famous love story of all time. It is a
tragic tale depicting the forbidden love shared by two young lovers
coming from two feuding families.

NARRATOR
The story of Romeo and Juliet begins in the town of Verona Italy where
there lived two powerful families who where sworn anemies,families who
would not think twice before drawing their swords these where the
montegues and the captulets
ALBERTO
Prince Escalus is coming
PRINCE ECALUS
Enough! You threaten the peace of my town and disrupt civilian’s
lives? I hear another brawl from the Montagues or Capulets the culprit
shall in prison for life! OFF YOU GO NOW!
ALBERTO
You're Majesty, you looked troubled
ESCALUS
Alberto, I worry about the hatred between these families I wonder what
their younger generation makes this rivalry, doesn't Montague have a
son Alberto?
ALBERTO
Yes, Romeo your majesty
ESCALUS
And the Capulets
ALBERTO
They have a daughter name, Juliet
ESCALUS
Oh Romeo and Juliet
BENVOLIO
Romeo there you are I've been looking for you since morning
ROMEO
Is it still morning?
BENVOLIO

ROMEO

If Rosaline doesn't understand your love, then she is at a loss my

Lord I pray for the peace of Verona the Montagues and Capulets'

NARRATOR
In conversation with Capulet, Count Paris declares his wish to marry Juliet.
Capulet invites him to a party that night. Capulet gives a servant the guest
list for the party and orders him off to issue invitations. The servant cannot
read the list and asks for help from Romeo and Benvolio. When they find out
that Rosaline, on whom Romeo dotes, is invited to the party, they decide to go
too.

Juliet what a beautiful name but why is lady Capulet calling her
NURSE

TYBALT
(Sees her)
Romeo how dare a Montague set a foot to our property
MERCUTIO
You removed you’re mask now were in troubled come let’s leave
ROMEO

JULIET
Nurse find out who the man is, the one I was dancing with If he is
already married to someone I might as well die why is my heart
yearning to run to him is this what they call true love
NURSE
Madam Tybalt told me who that uncultured boy was his name is Romeo and
he is a Montague

MERCUTIO
Why are you dancing with that Capulet girl you’re going to get us
killed today
ROMEO
I’m a dead man already I now know what true love is
BENVOLIO
Where do you think you’re going

NARRATOR
From Capulet’s Garden Romeo overhears Juliet express her love for him.

(Comes forward)

Oh Romeo my heart aches you’re a Montague what in a name that which we
will call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet but that if
you think different you don’t know I’m a Capulet but I don’t care
anymore oh Romeo just once accept my love I will stop being Capulet I
will be anything you want why did you leave we felt a spark and
yearned for more oh Romeo how I wish to see you again I want to see
you and say how I love you but why did you leave
ROMEO
I did leave but I couldn’t help coming back
JULIET
What are you doing here how did you get here they will kill you
ROMEO
After listing to my love confessing her love to me it doesn’t matter

That afternoon the love of Romeo and Juliet was secretly celebrate
they were now husband and wife but that heavenly afternoon destiny was
about to change it course.
BENVOLIO
Mercutio look at this Tybalt has sent a scroll for Romeo
MERCUTIO
he challenges Romeo to a dual but Romeo is a lover not fighter you
know they call Tybalt the prince of cats one strike is enough to kill
BENVOLIO

MERCUTIO
When Tybalt comes, he will find me not Romeo
TYBALT
Romeo come out you didn’t think you’d sneak into our house and the
Capulet wouldn’t know

ROMEO
Tybalt stop!
BENVOLIO

PRINCE ESCALUS
Mercutio and Romeo killed Tybalt hmm I hereby declare that Romeo is
banished from Verona
BENVOLIO

LORD CAPULET
Only Banish??
PRINCE ESCALUS
No another word Romeo must live in mediately and if she is seen in
Verona that will be the end of him
NURSE
(Knock the door) Lady Capulet where is my madams’ husband?
ROMEO

Romeo think straight tomorrow morning you live from mantua I will
arrange you're stay you will get everything you need I will send you
letters about Juliet and Verona things will be fine my boy
NURSE

ROMEO
No my love it is morning and I must either leave and live or stay and
die and you know what I won't leave even if that comes to take me away

take her out of the Tybalt deaths

(Lord Capulet talks to Juliet and said her plan)

At every dinner every gathering everyday every night I have only and
only thought to get a good man match for you and now when I find count
this is how you repay me I have enough you listen to my daughter you
marry him on Thursday and if you dare to reject the accountant, I wish
then will disown you will be dead to me
JULIET
No father please, mother please Nurse what do I do I already have a
husband I can live with anyone else I want to go to him I want my
Romeo back
NURSE

My love was exiled, and now I'm forced to marry another man, but my
heart refuses to beat without Romeo.
FRIAR LAURENCE
There is a way, but it involves a lot of risk. I will give you poison
made from a very rare flower that will stop your heart for a day and
your family will think you are dead. I will send a letter to Romeo,
and if everything goes according to my plan, you will wake up to see
Romeo and you can both start your own lives. However, if Romeo doesn't
get there on time you will find yourself among the dead.
JULIET
I'm willing to die if it is the only way to see Romeo once more

FRIAR LAURENCE
Your wedding day is the day after tomorrow, so I'll send Friar John to
deliver my message to Romeo. Because it's a long journey, send your
nurse away the next night, and drink this instead; it will take effect
right away. Goodbye, my child, and may the Lord be with you
JULIET
I agree to marry Count Paris, and father I apologize
LORD CAPULET
You make me proud and happy my daughter Juliet
NURSE
What makes you sleep this long Juliet its you wedding day, come on my
child wake up, Juliet madam my child wake up (Juliet wasn’t waling up
so the nurse checked her pulse, there was no pulse)no no my child!
Juliet!
ROMEO
Benvolio what news do you bring how is my lady as beautiful as ever of
course Benvolio why aren't you answering
BENVOLIO
What do I say as beautiful as ever the heavens we're always jealous
they took her back Juliet is dead
ROMEO
That is a lie

That name doesn’t matter anymore I am a dead man going to see my love
COUNT PARIS

Anyone ever as happy as I am before they pass away remember what I
said the next time we meet we will never be apart this is the most
divine potion on earth for it will bring us together My love, my life,
how is you're still so beautiful that took you away but it could not
take your beauty let me take your last embrace in this world I am
joining my love in eternity.
JULIET
Romeo?
ROMEO
Am I in heaven already? I should have drunk the poison hours back
JULIET
What do you mean poison? what did you did you do? Romeo?
ROMEO
I love you, Juliet

No Romeo, why did you do this? Why did it had to happened to us? My
Love, no not a single drop for me to follow after but I know these
still linger on your lips. Wait for me, for I am coming to you with
this last kiss a curse isn’t enough.
PRINCE ESCALUS
Today’s morning brings a surprising event to Verona, an event that
wrapped sadness in our town for two innocent lovers had died after a
tragic incident that took their lives this morning, tonight the moon
will be ashamed to show itself, the stars won’t twinkle in the dark
sky for never was a love story more tragic than this, Romeo and Juliet
will ever be.
