In this lesson you will understand
the different parts of a keyboard.
BASIC PARTS OF A KEYBOARD
1.Main keypad
2.Numeric keypad
3.Function keys
4.Cursor keys
5.Modifier keys
BASIC PARTS OF A KEYBOARD
MAIN KEYPAD
It has the most
keys which are
arranged like most
typewriter keys
using the QWERTY
pattern.
NUMERIC KEYPAD
It includes the
digits O to 9, a
period or decimal
point, arithmetic
operation keys, and
the enter key that
also serves as the
equal sign in
computations.
FUNCTION KEYS
Labeled as F1
through F12
CURSOR KEYS
These keys have
small arrows on
them that point
towards the
direction that the
cursor will move to
when pressed.
MODIFIER KEYS
These keys change
the original output
of a specific key.
