About the Company.

▪ Spinny is an online marketplace for pre-owned cars that endeavors to end the hassles involved in the
process of buying and selling cars.

▪ Spinny aims to resolve asymmetry of information regarding pricing & quality by embedding superior
technology & processes across the customer journey.
Analytical aspect used.

Predictive modelling: (Used in Supply & Demand department majorly)

- Generally used to predict future outcomes based on historical data, such as car delivery numbers
and revenue forecasting.
- Also used to predict the cars procurement from the different channels like direct customer,
dealer network and Auction platform.

Prescriptive modelling: (Used in Supply, Refurb, Demand)

- This used to identify the optimal course of action in a given situation, such as identifying the
cost-efficient way to drive the operations from the car entering in the system to the last mile
delivery.
- Helps in understanding ways to optimise the procurement category and the refurb operation
excellence.

Data visualization: (Used in Supply, Refurb, Demand, HR, Accounts)

- Helps to present data in a clear and easy-to-understand format, such as creating charts and
graphs to show trends in car sales, high-cost centres, conversion of visit to lead, lead to token
and token to delivery.
- Also helps to check the P&L in simple format to understand the profitability of the cities and the
heads which are incurring loss which can we worked upon.
- Manpower output is key metric and the reports around this helps to understand the bench mark
for various cities.

Statistical analysis: (Used in Demand, Accounts, Supply majorly)

- Used to identify patterns and relationships in data, such as identifying patterns in deal
cancellation, City wise expenses of RTO, fuel, driver cost, out of category procurements.
- Also helps to study trends in the team performance if the breach of process is happening at any
stage and the frequency of the same.

Machine learning: (Used by all the departments)

- Used to analyse large amounts of data and make predictions or identify patterns, such as
identifying potential leads which can be converted to deliveries.

Forecasting: ( Used by Marketing team majorly)

- Used to predict future car sales and procurement.


- Predict the lead flow based on the marketing campaigns.

Data mining: (Used by all the departments)

- Used to extract insights from large datasets, such as identifying patterns in visit & lead data to
improve the token quality.
