HUMSS FEST

II. RATIONALE

The Convergence 2018 is an annual occasion activity initiated by the HUMSS

and GAS Federated Officers which geared towards good-fellowship and tailored for the

new students of Humanities and Social Sciences and the General Academic Strand

helping them acclimatize with their new environment as well as to their classmates,

instructors, school facilitators, the school’s norms and standards and teaching

methodologies. In this event, the students, especially the new ones, get to expand their

circle of friends.

To make the HUMSS and GAS Federated officers official they will inducted into

office during the said activity.

It also seeks to enhance the socialization skills of the students and to develop

and foster camaraderie. Including rapport in this activity there will be an exposition of
their potentials such as grace with talent search and academic activities which can be

the venue for discovering and honing their talents.

III. OBJECTIVES

The activity aims to:

1. Provide an avenue for the oath taking ceremony of all the HUMSS and GAS Officers.

2. Expose talents and hidden potentials of the HUMSS and GAS Students and Officers.

3. Foster camaraderie and friendship amongst the students.

IV. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT

Source of Fund: Registration Fee of the Students worth P70.00 per


person, below is the disbursement of money from the fee:

3. Orientation for every HUMSS and GAS students about the necessities what to do

and what to prepare personally; and

4. Preparation of supplies and facilities.
