    meeting one of the parents for the first time. Work in pairs to role play a dialogue.
    Use the prompt cards to ask and answer questions.

    You are the student, Student A is the parent:


    • Reply to Student A’s introduction and introduce yourself.
    • Reply to Student A’s information about their family and explain about your family.
    • Reply to Student A’s question about food and ask what time they usually eat meals.
    • Reply to Student A’s question about free time and ask about what things you can do in the local area.
    • Say how happy you are to stay with them in their house.
