MATERIAL Left Front

Schachenmayr Tweed Style, 50 g ball With size 5 mm needles, cast on 27 / 29 / 32 sts. Beg and
Color 00090 (laub tweed) balls 7 / 8 / 9 end with a WS row, work in rib pat for 9 cm.
Change to size 6 mm needles and work in seed st for
Check the label on the ball band and be sure to use balls 28 cm, ending with a WS row. Shape armhole: Bind off

GAUGE Right Front

In seed st on size 6 mm needles: Work same as for left front, reversing all shaping.
12 sts and 20 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm

Sleeves
With size 6 mm needles, cast on 33 / 34 / 35 sts.
Beg with a WS row, work in seed st and shape sleeve
as foll: Inc 1 st at beg and end of every 12th / 10th / 8th row
4 / 5 / 6 times = 41 / 44 / 47 sts.
Cont until sleeve measures 30 cm from cast-on, ending
with a WS row. Shape sleeve cap: Bind off 3 sts at beg of
next 2 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 1 st at beg of next
22 / 24 / 26 rows. Bind off remaining 9 / 10 / 11 sts..
Work in rib pat for 3 rows. Next RS [buttonhole] row: Work
first 3 sts, [k2tog, yo] for buttonhole,  work 8 sts, make
buttonhole; rep from  3 times, work to end. On foll WS
row, work even in rib pat and knit or purl the yos mainting
pattern. Cont until front band measures 4 cm from beg,
then bind off all sts.
Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew on buttons.
Carefully weave in all ends.

FINISHING ABBREVIATIONS
Pin pieces to measurements and block. Place markers k = knit
9 / 10 / 11.5 cm in from each shoulder edge. Sew shoulder p = purl
seams RS = right side
Front band: With circular needle, RS facing, beg at lower st(s) = stitch(es)
edge of right front, pick up and knit 42 sts along straight WS = wrong side
edge of right front, 26 / 28 / 30 sts along shaped edge
of right front, 21 / 25 / 29 sts along back neck edge,
26 / 28 / 30 sts along shaped edge of left front and 42
sts along straight edge of left front = 157 / 165 / 173 sts.
