    Literacy Writing

    We will be reading books that go along with Students will continue to write/draw in their
    our theme. In leveled literacy centers we are writing journals. This week we will focus on
    focusing on 1:1 match of words when labeling our drawings and using sentence
    tracking. We are also reviewing sight words. starters. Students who can write
    In phonics we will learn/review letter sounds. words/letters will be encouraged to do so.
    Sight Words: in, did, am, at, it

    Theme- Colors
    Monday- Red
    Tuesday- Orange, Yellow
    Wednesday- Green
    Math Thursday- Blue, Purple
    This week we will continue to work on Friday- Rainbow
    classifying objects. We will also begin to
    discuss shapes and shape attributes.
    Continue to practice number formation at
    home.
