Literacy Theme- Women’s History Month/Friendship

We continue to practice reading leveled books

during small group instruction. This week we
will continue to learn about long vowel sounds.

Weekly sight words- are, this (come, here,

when, of, love, what, big, little, me, be, do, on,
with have, look, in, he, she, eat, go, run, as, us,
will, ye,s no, we, am, you, at, was, it, can, see, my,
and, is, to, like, the, I, a)

Math
We will continue to focus on addition and
introduce subtraction within 10. We are also
reviewing shape names and rules.
Writing
We will continue to work on writing sentences
using sight words. We are spending more time
sounding out words when possible. This is a
challenging skill but students are getting more
confident.

Suggested homework: Google Classroom has a list of do anytime activities. You can also use any
of the online learning resources that have been provided.
