WEEK 1 ACTIVITY

ACTIVITY PHASE 2:
Summarize or list down the main goals for each Sustainable Development Goal as a
summary of your readings.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

1. NO POVERTY
End poverty in all its form everywhere through improve work
opportunities or livelihood, support those people who cannot support
themselves through social protection systems and projects from
government helping lessen poverty issues.

2. ZERO HUNGER
End hunger by sustainable agriculture which means abundant source of
foods which are nutritious to the people. Aside from that also having a
healthy lifestyle and correct balance food intake will solve the problem
from malnutrition.

3. GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Ensure health of the people. Through modern advancement in our
medicine health of all people was ensure and death rate was lessened. By
providing general health protocols to the people help them maintain
healthy and well-being.

4. QUALITY OF EDUCATION
Providing a good quality education will open many opportunities to the
people and sustainable development that meets the needs of the present
without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their
own needs.

5. GENDER EQUALITY
Empower all women and girls that they can also achieve what men can do.
As of today, era women already capable of attaining achievements and
what men do have.
6. CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Availability of clean drinking water for the health of the people, proper
disposal of human urine and waste to have proper hygiene to prevent the
virus from spreading.

7. AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY

Having affordable and clean energy will open a new world with a lot of
opportunities for the people while protecting earth from global warming
and climate change.

8. DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

Sustainable tourism will open a lot of job hiring for the people for better
employment and also affects the economic growth of the country.

9. INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE

As productive employment and job hiring increases infrastructure and
buildings need to be build and sustainable industrialization also increase
productivity, job creation and generates income that greatly affects the
economic growth.

10. REDUCED INEQUALITIES

By reducing the inequalities between countries, both countries will greatly
benefit from it not just economic growth but also having both sustainable
development between countries.

11. SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

Making cities involves human settlements which is safe and resilient will
attract more people to move in which will also open new opportunities for
the development and as having sustainable transportation also helps
economic growth.

12. RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

Having a sustainable consumption and production pattern will have a
balance and proper development regarding for the goods and services of
the people.
13. CLIMATE ACTION
Having preventions and implementing it immediately will help combat
and lessen the global warming and climate change occurring right now.

14. LIFE BELOW WATER

Proper usage of the oceans and seas, proper consumption of marine
resources will greatly help for the development.

15. LIFE ON LAND

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystem,
sustainably manage forest, combat desertification, and halt and reverse
land duration and halt biodiversity loss will also help for sustainable
development

16. PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies, provide access to justice for all
and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels also
affects the development of a country

17. PARTNERSHIP FOR THE GOALS

Strengthen the means of the implementation and revitalize the Global
partnership between the countries for better development.

As a student to become a global citizen must involves a calm mind and adaptable
skills that will help me in engaging in any global issues, appreciates diverse perspective and
contribute positively and for the good of the world.
