Hue saturation and brightness

Saturation is the intensity of a hue from gray tone (no saturation) to pure, vivid color
(high saturation). Brightness is the relative lightness or darkness of a particular color,
from black (no brightness) to white (full brightness).

Certain color palettes draw the viewer in and create a sense of comfort, while others
isolate the viewer and make them feel disoriented. Just as some create a nostalgic
atmosphere while others evoke tension and grit.
