Teaching at your previous teaching experience practicum?

culture the teacher is trying to portray. During my teaching practice I noticed the older
educators were very stuck in their ways and not open to cultural diversity being
implemented, their own mindsets proved a challenge to the implementation of Culturally
Responsive Teaching.

3. What strategies can teachers implement to become Culturally Responsive in your context?
Answer: To become life long learners, by researching and learning about the diverse cultures
we can become more educated and be able to teach in a manner respectful to all cultures.
Teachers should make conscious efforts to include the cultures of all learners somewhere
along the line during the academic year so learners do not feel left out or isolated.
4. What do you think are the Advantages of Culturally Responsive Teaching in your context?
Answer: The first advantage would be that learners become active participants in the
teaching and learning process. The learners will become more respectful of the other
cultures around them and show an appreciation for the other cultures. By doing this learners
are exposed to many different cultures which will be beneficial as they get older. Teachers
make the classroom a safe and comfortable place for learners when they show a conscious
effort in getting to know learners and teach them in an environment that is familiar to them.
