Multiple students at JCA

 Introduction

INSIGHT provides parents and carers

with the ability to monitor various data
about their child, without waiting for
reports to be sent home.

For example, attendance and behavior

events that are logged, as well as
viewing all parent reports that have
been generated.

There is also the ability to check the

details we hold and request updates.

Parents’ and carers’ events now use

schoolcloud to book and host video
calls, details of which will be sent
separately.

This link goes to the full website for PC/Laptop users

As Parent reports will not work correctly on a mobile

device using the full website, using this link on a mobile
redirects to the webapp, which is very similar to the now
discontinued app

Logins are issued to parents via email.

If you do not know your login, there is a link on the login

page to get an email to rest the password.

If you experience any problems with this, please email

JCAinfo@clf.uk quoting “INSIGHT” and we will look into it.

When using a mobile, you will see the following login

screen

- Enter your user name and password.

- Click Sign in.

If you don’t know your details, click “Recover Password”

option at the bottom to receive a reminder via email. If
your email is not recognised, get in touch via

Snapshot – Web App

Once you log in, you will see

the snapshot page.
This has overall values for YTD
attendance, along with today’s
timetable.

Click the menu option in the top left corner, to

see a list of available pages

This provides a full timetable showing every day, by

scrolling down.

At the bottom, the tables show

each score achieved in lessons
this year to date

A definition of the scores are

listed below (any numerical
value denotes a present mark,
as does / or \. L or U denotes
late to lesson, any other marks
denote an absence

1 – Referred to SLR – not ready to learn

2 – Warning for behaviour
4 – Ready to Learn
5 – Ready to learn and heart value

Selecting the personal details

option, will show you the
information we hold.
You can request an update by
clicking on the icon against the
relevant field.

Some fields will have a list to

choose from, if you cannot see a
relevant option, please let us
know.

behavior entries that have been

If any parent reports have

been issued, they will show in
the reports menu.

If you click on the relevant tile,

it will download the report
onto your device
School details – Web App

The school details option shows the

address and contact info, website
link and a contact us button.
 Multiple students – All devices

The idea of INSIGHT is to link all your children at our school,

so you only have one login.

You should be able to click on the first child’s picture and

select your other children. If this does not happen for you,
please let us know.

On the login page you will need your username and

password (these have been emailed out)

If you cannot remember your details (after first login)

- Click on the “Don’t know your password” link, where
you will be prompted to enter your email address.

After logging in, you will be greeted by the snapshot page.

This will have any notices sent through, and displays the
year to date, Attendance % and summary graphs.

Scrolling down, this page shows a break down of YTD

figures

Lesson Summary

This page shows a break down of every lesson’s score for

the year to date.

A definition of the scores are listed below (any

numerical value denotes a present mark, as does / or
\. L or U denotes late to lesson, any other marks
denote an absence

clicking this opens up the following page

This list any behavior incidents that have been

logged, with the date and reason

If any parent reports have been issued,

they will be available within the reports
menu

Clicking one will open it within your

internet browser

Once loaded, there is options for zooming

and downloading

Selecting general from the top menu

provides the below options

details option opens
up our address and
phone details, and
provides a contact
form if required

Selecting personal details, the page displays the

information we hold. Any fields in blue can be updated, by
clicking the icon

Any requested changes are submitted for review, before

sending them to our database
