Sign Up
Once the know.careers app is installed on your phone, open the app, touch the “Get Started” button, and then
choose the “School” option.

Setup Your Account

1. Add your email, create your password, and then click “Sign Up”.
2. On the next screen, enter your Name, Graduation Date, and Phone Number

Select Your School(s)

Select your school(s) from the list*
Important Notes
*To participate in the 23-24 Instructional Job Fair, add Sarasota County Schools to your list of
Schools/Organization when creating your profile.

Degrees, Skills, and Majors

Add your Degrees, Majors, and any special Skills or Certifications you have earned, and click “Next”

Upload your Resume

Name your resume and click “Add Resume” where you will see three options:

1. From your files on your phone.

2. From your computer – an email is sent to you with upload instructions … you can upload a PDF or a
Word file.
3. Scan Manually – upload your resume by taking a picture of your paper resume using the camera on your
phone. *Please note the image quality is limited to your phone’s capabilities*

Add your Profile Picture

You may take a photo or add one from your photo library. Once you are happy with the picture, click “Next”

Additional Information – In this step, you can add up to two URLs to enhance your profile.
Terms and Conditions – Review these and click “Next” to agree.

Add your Video Profile

Touch ”Add Video Profile” under your picture and use your phone to record your “elevator speech” for
recruiters. This will enable employers to better understand who you are, and what you have to offer.

Join the Job Fair Very Important Step!

Now that you have completed your profile, click the Events tab at the bottom of the page to find and JOIN the
“23-24 Instructional Job Fair.” Once you have joined, you’ll see the list of participating schools and will be
able to research them, take notes, and let them know of your interest. They may reach out to you directly to
start a conversation.
