Children play a major role in the Investiture

ceremony as it is a significant event that showcases the
essence of leadership and responsibility. It’s an occasion
where deserving individuals are honoured and
entrusted with the authority to lead and represent their
respective roles.
Preprimary Pink Colour day Aug 4th
celebrations

Colours play a vital role in the world which we live.

Pink is the most prettiest colour amongst all. It has a
tendency associating with charm, politeness, sensitivity,
tenderness, sweetness and feminity. Our tiny buds
actively participated in the Pink colour Day on August
4th through fun filled activities in which they were able
to identify different colours and pick objects in pink
coloured.

Friendship day
Celebrations

The significance of Friendship Day lies in celebrating

to convey meaningful human relationships. It’s a day
dedicated to the friends, help to honour them,
strengthening their friendship. Children prepared
handmade friendship bands and tied them to their
friends with great joy and happiness.

Independence Day
Celebrations

Independence day celebrations can instil a sense

of pride in the nation and inspire them to
contribute positively to the society. It’s the day,
where we remember the sacrifices made by the
brave freedom fighters who struggled for our
independence. Our preprimary wing has shown
their patritiosm by coming in the freedom fighters
costume ,dancing to the patriotic songs.

Commencement

Periodic assessments provide schools with up-to-date

information about what each student knows and can do ,
so that teachers can target on teaching to the learning
needs of every child. Periodic Assesments measure
student learning to help schools keep students on track
for success in high school and beyond.

Art Integrators Training xQ
video Lab

Art integration is a teaching method that incorporates

the arts into other subject areas. It shows how to
improve academic achievement, increase student
engagement, and boost up social developments. On
August 19th there was a training for the xQ Art
integrators for both the states Telangana as well as
Andhra. Faculty from different schools gathered at the
Begumpet Country Club to gain the knowledge about Art
Integration.

classes

This was a very happy time to check on the projects

done by the children and classes observation by the Team
of xQ video lab . The team had guided the children with
the best concept and protips.
 Spell Bee Aug 28th

Competition

Spell bee is a word game that challenges players to

construct as many words as possible. The children try to
spell words correctly. It helps in improving spelling skills
,learning skills and improvise word building confidence.
 National Aug 29th

Sports Day

National Sports day is celebrated in the remembrance

of a great dominant Hockey player Major Dhyan Chand
Singh’s Birthday. Children pay homage to the
remarkable sportsman and promote the importance of
sports and physical activities in the lives of individuals.
Children participated in the different games according to
their grades.
 Rakhi Aug 30th

Celebrations

Raksha Bandhan is a cherished Hindu festival

celebrating the bond between siblings. Sisters tie colorful
threads (rakhi) on their brothers' wrist, symbolizing
protection and love. Brothers, in turn, pledge to
safeguard their sisters. This festival exemplifies the
enduring sibling relationship and the spirit of care and
commitment.

Bash

At Laurus we are encouraging birthday celebration in

a different way. Learning to give,to contribute to the
society and nature enriches our soul. After all education
is about making kids into finest and responsible citizens
of tomorrow. Children have now started celebrating
their birthdays by either donating a sapling or some real
good books to the institution as a gesture of gratitude.
