This moonlanding turns out to be an examination on the collapsed spaceship. The main character from the previous movies Sam Witwicky is revealed here as entering into adulthood and trying to move his live on after Mikaela. He again finds himself in the vortex of Transformers unresolved conflict as he gets an order to maintain top secrecy about human discovery on the moon or he will be treated as traitor. Somehow the secret have emerged to the Autobots and they are very frustrated, since they have shared all the information about themselves and their planet Cybertron, but did not get the respective

trust from the other side. The humans have responded to their trust in a different way that the Autobots have expected with lie. It appears that the Autobots are not the only one who came aware about the Ark remains in the moon. The Decepticons also entered the race for the secret of spaceship, that could turn vital in the final battle of the Transformers war. In the chase of the mystery that the Cybertorian spaceship holds, the Autobots are forced to leave the humans on their own. Optimus Prime stated to the humans, that from here, the fight will be their own. Although it is not revealed what the Ark holds, it probably is something that is going to put an end to the war.
