PERFORMANCE TASK 101 IN APPLIED ECO.

1. Introduction

o Give a background information on the socio-economic problems assigned

to you. State relevant facts.
o Identify factors that lead to that socio-economic problems.
o Formulate a thesis statement, summarizing the analysis of the socio-
economic problem.

2. Evaluation of the Socio Economic Problem

o Discuss what you have researched about socio-economic problems.

o Explain the various programs implemented to solve that socio-economic
problem.
o Evaluate these programs using the Application of Applied Economics to
Solve Economic Issues (Ref: Applied Eco. Module Week 2)

3. Proposed Solution/Changes
o Discuss what programs are working and not working. State why these
programs are or not working.
o Provide specific and realistic solution(s) or change needed.
o Explain why solutions/changes were chosen.

4. Recommendations

o Determine and discuss specific strategies for accomplishing the proposed

solutions/changes.
o What should be done and who should do it?
