TOMAS PINPIN

known as the “ Prince of the Filipino Printers”.


Pinpin was tHe first Filipino author who wrote in
Tagalog and Spanish.
wrote a book Librong Pag aaralan nang mga
Tagalog ng Uicang Castilla
First Filipino to publish and print the book during
the Spanish Colonization, and was published in
1610.
PEDRO PATERNO
He was a Philippine politician known for being the
mediator in the Pact of Biak-na-Bato.

Not ; Rizal’s work of heart) and El Filibusterismo
( The Traitor; Rizal’s work of mind)

Tagalogs Should Know)
2. Katungkulang Gagawin Ng Mga Anak Ng Bayan
(Obligations of Our Countrymen)
EMILIO JACINTO
Brains of Katipunan
wrote the political essays using folk language
edited Kalayaan (Freedom) a Katipunan
newspaper
