RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. This festival is open for all nationalities

2. All participants are to accept and agree to abide by all the rules and
regulations of the festival set out by the IIYMA committee.

3. Consent must be given for videos and images of participants to be used on


the social media sites and festival promotional materials of the organizers of
IIYMA.

4. The assessment will be on the submission on video recording and have to be


appropriate as the video regulation set out by IIYMA committee.

5. Participants are allowed to take more than one category, however it is not
possible to perform the same piece in different categories.

6. IIYMA committee reserves the right to make any changes to the rules,
schedule, and any information relating to prizes at any time.

7. Registration are available via linktr.ee/iiyma

8. Late Registration up to 2 days after the dateline of the submission will


incur an administrative fee of IDR 200.000 (USD 20).

9. A jury member will not judge his/her own students. Therefore, the final
score will be taken from the average of existing scores.

10. Conservatory / Music School Students are required to take Free Choice or
Young Artist Categories.

RECORDING REGULATIONS
1. Video recording must be submitted along with the application.

2. Video must be taken without editing. Professional studio recording will be


DISQUALIFIED.

3. Video is taken in landscape view, in one angle, without any interruption.


Performance in two pieces (Young Artist Category) must be taken in one
take.

4. The applicant’s face, hands, and pedals (if using pedal) must be visible in the
video.

5. Memorization is required to ensure mastery of repertoire. There will be a


deduction of points if the piece is not memorized.

6. Violin Performance should be accompanied by piano, however there will


be no point deduction for playing along with the backing track.

7. Description of the recording must be clearly stated with the following


format : IIYMA – (Performer’s Name) – (Composer, Title of the Piece)

8. Upload and submit the video by YouTube URL link. Make sure that the
videos are visible by doing “Public” settings and “Not Made For Kids”.

9. Applications with videos exceeding the time limit will be judged until
the maximum time limit. There will be no point deduction for exceeding
the time limit.

10. No changes of repertoire are allowed after submission of application.

11. Video submitted must be taken in 2023. Participants who violate this
rule will be disqualified.

PRIZE AND AWARDS

1. Participants will be assessed based on the submitted video. The award will
be based on the average score from judges and will be classified as below:
92 and above : Platinum Award (Highest Score Participant Only)
85 and above : Gold Award
75-84 : Silver Award
65 – 74 : Bronze Award
Below 65. : Merit Award

2. Special Awards will be given to selected participants


a. Best Performance Award
Given to Platinum Awardees with the highest score among all categories.

b. Top Scorers Award


Given to Platinum and Gold Awardees with the highest score in their categories.
c. High Scorers Award
Given to Gold Awardees with 10% highest score in their categories.
d. Excellent Award
Given to Platinum/Gold Awardees in minimum 3 categories.

e. Promising Award
Given to Platinum/Gold Awardees in minimum 2 categories.

PRIZE AND AWARDS
3. Each participant will receive an E-certificate and performance report from
juries. Paper Certificate and Trophy can be ordered. (*additional cost)

4. Cash Prizes and Masterclass Scholarship are given for selected special
award recipients. Masterclass Scholarship are non-refundable.

5. Performance of Special Award, Platinum, and Gold Award recipients will


be premiered in IIYMA Virtual Winner Concert Series 2023.
