WAIVER OF CONFIDENTIALITY FOR EARLY PUBLICATION

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That I/we, <Applicant’s Name and Address>, applicant(s) for the above-stated pending patent application at
the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL);

After having sworn to in accordance with the law, hereby depose and state:

1. That we are expressing our intent to have our patent application detailed above, be published
earlier by IPOPHL in their Official Gazette before the expiration of eighteen (18) months from filing
date as provided in Rule 800.2 of the 2022 Revised IRR;

2. That in consideration of foregoing, we agree to have the subject application be published without a
Search Report;

3. That we do hereby waive the confidentiality of the aforementioned patent applications provided in
Rule 801 of the 2022 Revised IRR (Section 45 of R.A. 8293, as amended), making it available for
inspection by the public without our consent caused upon early publication; and

4. That we understand the consequences of said early publication and hereby expressly hold the
Intellectual Property Office (IPOPHL) and its officers/employees/agents free from any liability
whatsoever arising out of, or by reason of the early publication of the subject application and the
corresponding confidentiality disclosures that may arise therefrom.
