registered on 6 December 2021 with a term until 24 November 2026, unless
otherwise earlier cancelled, and may be renewed for not more than two (2)
consecutive periods of five (5) years each, by paying the renewal fee.
This registration grants the registrant the right to restrain, prohibit any unauthorized
person or entity from making, using, offering for sale, selling or importing the
industrial design.

Under the provisions of Section 118 of Republic Act 8293. The Term of
Industrial Design Registration –
Section 118.2. The registration of an industrial design may be renewed for not
more than two (2) consecutive periods of five (5) years each, by paying the
renewal fee.
Section 118.3. The renewal fee shall be paid within twelve (12) months
preceding the expiration on the period of registration. However, a grace period
of six (6) months shall be granted for payment of the fees after such expiration,
upon payment of the surcharge.

Said Registration Certificate will be released to you or to your authorized representative upon
presentation of this Notice to this Office.
Pursuant to Republic Act 7660 and Republic Act 9243, or the Acts Rationalizing the
Provisions on the Documentary Stamp Tax of the National Revenue Code of 1997 and For Other
Purposes, and as amended by Section 61 of Republic Act 10963, a documentary stamp tax of
thirty pesos (Php 30.00) shall be secured by the Registrant and shall be affixed on the face of the
Registration Certificate. As stated in the Guide for Philippine Taxes, “Failure to stamp a taxable
document shall not invalidate the same. However, it shall not be recorded (i.e. in the Registry of
Deeds) or admitted or used as evidence in any court until the requisite stamp is affixed thereto and
cancelled. Furthermore, no notary or other officer authorized to administer oaths shall add his
jurat or acknowledgement to the document unless the proper documentary stamp is affixed thereto
and cancelled.”
