The undercut technique is as simple as it is ingenious. By means of a drilling system a

blind hole with an expanded base is drilled into the backside of the material. Subsequently, the
undercut façade anchor is inserted into the hole. This anchor guarantees a positive-locking
attachment, which is free of expansion force and stress. As soon as the panel is equipped with
brackets, it has been mounted directly on to the substructure. An undercut anchor is inserted
into the hole and tightened positive fit using a screw. These anchors have to be then attached to
specially designed profiles with ease so that they can be fixed to the wall directly or another sub
frame system behind. The system has to be designed keeping stone variations and bending
tolerances. The system is far technical and can reduce the thickness of stone considerably.

The system consists of:

1. Natural stone slabs of desired size and calculated thickness.

2. A sub-frame system of the aluminium, anchored to the supporting wall and is composed of:

- Arton back clip

- Arton back runner

- Vertical mullion

- The cavity acts as an insulator which helps in protecting the RCC structure from weathering.

- No discoloration of the stone as the system is a completely dry and devoid of water the
colour of the stone will stay the same after the installation and for a long time.

- Caters for a whole range of stone dimensions and thickness.

- Project specific design and calculations can be provided.

- Can be anodized or powder-coated if required.
