Linear mount is specifically designed for dry cladding wherein the cavity has to be
minimal. The restricted allowance of the system is most suitable for an area which is fairly in line
and level. The system offers horizontal connections in stones with continuous kerf while
reducing the shear load in the anchors and transferring it onto the pull-out load. An apt system
for dry cladding stones in the interiors. This system is 100% recyclable. This system is
generally recommended for interiors because of its efficiency and optimisation of tight spaces.
We designed a specific system for dry cladding in the interiors this is because now more and
more buildings have large atriums which is open to sky, in these atriums when stone is to be put
dry cladding is the most secure way of fixing.

The system consists of:

1. Natural stone slabs of desired size and calculated thickness.

2. A sub-frame of the aluminium, anchored to the supporting wall and is composed of:

-Anchor fasteners of specified make are drilled mechanically in the vertical walls.
Depending upon the type of back support, RCC / Brick fasteners can be used. For unusual
loading conditions chemical fasteners can be used.

-Horizontal profiles bolted to the anchor fasteners

-Grooved stone slabs are fixed to the horizontal aluminium profiles

-EPDM gasket- To eliminate vibrations and act as a separator between aluminium and
stone.

- Proportionate distribution of the load as there is a continous kerf.

- load conversation: The profile in engineered to convert the shear load on the anchors into
pull out load.

- No synthetic or epoxy filling required between joints of stone.

- The cavity acts as an insulator which helps is protecting the RCC structure.

- No discoloration of the stone. Since its dry cladding there are no chemicals involved in the
installation process.

- Environmentally friendly: This system is completely recyclable. Every material in this system
can be re used. System is 100 % recyclable.

- Caters for a whole range of stone dimensions and thickness.

- Project specific design and calculations can be provided.
