1.) General

• Tap the “Configuration” button and


enter the PIN code to access the
main level of the configuration
menu.

• Be sure to save every adjustment


before leaving the respective level.
No changes will be saved if you
cancel a step.

1.1.) Transferring the configuration to other devices

• The final configuration can be transferred to


other elisa 600 / elisa 800 devices via USB
stick.

• An elisa 600 or elisa 800 configuration


cannot be transferred to an elisa 300 or elisa
500 device.

• Before you update the software document


the configuration of your device via
screenshots. The details of the configuration
will have to be restored manually.

2.) Selecting the language

Configuration -> Regional options -> Language

This is also the menu to select the desired units for pressure
and etCO2 as well as the time zone.

3.) Selecting ventilation modes

Configuration -> Feature Selection -> Ventilation

Select the ventilation modes you want to make available to users


for each patient category separately.
To add a mode, select it from the list on the left and drag it to the
desired position in the tab bar.

Configuration -> Feature Selection -> Protocols


Assign the desired functions to the respective interfaces.
Only options that are activated on this level will be available to users
during ventilation.

Activate or deactivates subordinate options for various functions.
Options that are deactivated on this level will not be available to
! users during ventilation.

This menu specifies the availability of individual functions.
Functions that are deactivated on this level will not be available to
! users during ventilation.
Note that the activated functions must also be configured on tab
positions in the next step!

Use the corresponding sub-menus to configure “Manoeuvres”,


“Weaning” and “Functions”.

Drag the selected tabs individually from the bar on the left to the
desired position in the tab bar.

Only manoeuvres, weaning procedures and functions that are configured


! on tab positions will be available to users during ventilation!

5.2.) Manoeuvres, Weaning, Functions: Shortcuts

Configuration -> Screen Layout -> Shortcuts

Drag the icons from the list to the desired position. You can assign up
to 11 shortcuts; the twelfth place is reserved for the Help function.

For the overlay opacity choose a setting between 10% and 90%.

„Home“, „Status“, „Trends“ as well as „Standby“.

Add views by tapping „+“, then choose a view from the list.
Delete views by activating the view (longpress), then selecting the
last possible choice:

Service -> Security

You can change the PIN Code for either configuration- or service
menu here.
Note: The modified PIN code will not be included when you transfer
the configuration to another elisa 600 / elisa 800 device with a USB
stick.

9.2.) Changing the PIN

„Lost“ PIN:
Your service technician carries a USB stick with a generic key.
Insert the USB stick. Tap the additional button that appears on the
stand-by screen to generate new PINs for the configuration and
service level. Note down the new PINs!
These can again be changed in the respective level.
