Of course, we realize that the preparation of this paper is still far from perfect bec

INTRODUCTION

A. Background
Talking about learning media, there are many types, ranging from image
media, video media, and power points. Learning media is an inseparable part of the
teaching and learning process in order to achieve educational goals in general and
learning objectives in schools in particular. In an effort to improve the quality of
education, more teachers should do to carry out their duties and responsibilities as
educators. One of them is to improve the learning process that uses the media
effectively and can improve the quality of good learning outcomes.
Educators learn to be creative by utilizing all learning media so that students
do not get bored quickly in receiving learning. Especially in this era, educators must
be creative in presenting their learning. One application that can be used to create
interactive learning media is Wordwall.

B. Formulation of the problem

Based on the background above, several problems can be formulated as follows.

1. What is the definition of Wordwall?

2. What are the strength and weaknesses Wordwall?

3. How to use Wordwall?

4. How to overcome the weaknesses Wordwall?

DISCUSSION

A. Definition of Wordwall
Wordwall is an interesting application in the browser. A special application
that aims to be a fun learning resource, media, and assessment tool for students. There
are many game models that can be created because the templates are provided. In
addition, it is free to use and can be shared directly via Facebook, Google Classroom,
Twitter, or via a link to the WA group.

This application can be used to create learning media such as quizzes,

matchmaking, pairing, anagrams, word randomization, word search, grouping, etc.
Interestingly, in addition to providing users with access to the media they have created
online, they can also be downloaded and printed on paper. This application provides
18 templates that can be accessed for free and users can change activity templates
from one activity to another easily. Teachers can also make their own content a task.

B. Strenght and Weaknesses of Wordwall

The Strength of Wordwall :
1. Allows everyone to learn anywhere and anytime.
2. Registration is easy to do for students or teachers.
3. The ability to create links (links), so that students can access information from
various sources. Both inside and outside the learning environment.
4. There are many choices of interesting quizzes that can encourage students to
be more active and independent in learning.

The Weaknesses of Wordwall :

1. The success of web-based learning depends on independence and motivation
to learn.
2. The font size cannot be changed and the user cannot also change the size of
the text.
C. How to use Wordwall :
1. Login to https://wordwall.net/
2. Create an account first, or you can also use a friend's gmail account

3. Select Create Activity

4. Select the type of game you want (admin select WHACK A MOLE)

5. Write the title of the game and the description of the game

6. In the Correct section, write the correct answer, and in the incorrect section, write

the wrong answer

7. The next setting is to determine the level of the games

8. Score to be displayed

9. Click done to start playing the game

10. Select the share option to share your friends' game creations on social media

D. How to overcome the weaknesses of Wordwall

To overcome the Weaknesses of Wordwall :
1. The success of the learning process cannot be separated from the teacher and
students. Interesting communication following the learner's style is one of the
important factors for successful learning.
The platform should provide settings for users to change the font size so that
they are more comfortable in using the application when the painting size is
what they want.
 CHAPTER III

A. Conclusion
Wordwall is one of the many interactive websites that can be used for distance
learning, one of the facilities provided is a quiz gameshow. Distance learning using
word wall game media can be used as a vehicle, a liaison so that messages conveyed
to students can be conveyed properly. Students become more active and can
overcome boredom due to prolonged learning from home due to the delivery of
learning in the form of games. In addition, teachers and students are also encouraged
to learn to recognize and use information technology in the form of online learning
facilities through wordwalls.

Interesting communication following the learner's style is one of the important

factors for successful learning. Technology today is very important. Even in the
future, but that does not mean as a substitute teacher. So the teacher must continue to
strive so as not to be left behind, to be more advanced, innovative and creative while
still instilling good character values to students in order to realize a golden generation
in the future.
