Dear Valued Parents

Greetings from GEMS United Indian School!

Subject: KG2 - National Curriculum Framework – Three Language Formula

According to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) based on the National Education Policy (NEP),

there is a mandate from CBSE to teach 3 languages to promote multilingualism in Indian schools.

Language 1: As English is the medium of instruction of GEMS UIS, Language 1 will be English.

Language 2: Arabic will be our Language 2.

Language 3: Any one option from Hindi/Malayalam/Urdu. Please note: French is offered as an option

only to nationalities other than Indians.

Please give a careful thought before ticking the third language option for your child for the academic year

2024-2025. You are requested to print the consent form, fill in the details, scan and mail it to the Class

Teacher latest by Friday, October 13, 2023.

For further clarifications, if any, please get in touch with your child’s respective class teacher and cc to the

Supervisor.
