Join Us to Make Kindness Kits at This Friday’s Holiday Luncheon

CopperPoint employees across Arizona and California will help assemble 4,000 “Kindness Kits”
for the homeless in conjunction with United Way and the Veterans StandDown Alliance this
Friday during our annual company-wide holiday luncheon.

“Kindness Kits” are gallon-sized Ziploc bags filled with necessary items including socks, a winter
hat, a toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, lip balm and deodorant.

PacificComp employees have partnered with United Way Ventura County, a nonprofit which
strives to see Ventura County residents achieve their full potential in education, financial stability
and health. CopperPoint employees are supporting the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance,
and the Arizona Housing Coalition and the Valley of the Sun United Way, each of which strive to
reduce homelessness in Maricopa County.

The incentive to support CopperPoint and PacificComp’s local Arizona and California
communities is even higher following a recent report from United Way which shared that
Ventura County saw a 28 percent increase in the homelessness rate, and one in five Arizonians
experienced poverty in 2019.

Our Arizona-based employees have the exciting opportunity to sign up for an additional
volunteer event on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Veterans StandDown Volunteers
will help distribute our assembled “Kindness Kits.” Volunteer shifts are available starting at
7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m for 2-3 hours. CopperPoint’s Arizona teams are encouraged
to sign up to volunteer in pairs for this event.
