1. Capturing of Mandatory additional qualifiers in Import/Export declarations in respect of
certain products w.e.f. 1st October 2023:
 As per Circular No. 15/2023-Customs and Circular No. 18/2023-Customs, additional
qualifier is required in Import/Export declarations in respect to certain products in the Bill
of Entry with effect from 1st October 2023.

2. Changes in Import Custom Clearing Job:

 In Import Custom Clearing Job, the CTH that starts with 28, 29, 32, 38, 39 are required to
declare below mentioned Single Window details. Hence as soon as these CTH are selected
in Import Custom Clearing Job the below 2 single window details will be automatically
added under Product >> Single Window tab. Once the same is added required details need
to be updated under “Information” field.
 Item Identification - Chemical Abstract Service registration number
 Product Name - Name as per the IUPAC Nomenclature

 If the above details are not declared in Import Custom Clearing job, then application will
display Product wise warning message as shown in below screenshot.

 Note:
 If the CTH is changed in job then the corresponding single window details will not get
automatically removed from job.
 Currently the above changes are applicable in case of Home and Inbond “BE Type” only.

3. Changes in Export custom Clearing Job:
 Under Product >> General Tab, introduced three new fields i.e., “Medicinal Plant”,
“Formulation” and “Surface Material in Contact” as shown in below screenshot.

 Medicinal Plant: Medicinal Plant field will be enabled only on selection of CTH 12119019,
12119029, 12119039, 12119049, 12119059 and 12119090.
 Formulation: Formulation field will be enabled only on selection of CTH 30039011,
30049011, 30039012, 30049012, 30039013, 30049013, 30039014.
 Surface Material in Contact: Surface Material in Contact field will be enabled only on
selection of CTH 84141010, 84195011, 84195012, 84195013, 84195019, 84198912,
84198914 and 84198916.
 Clicking on search option will display list of applicable codes which can be selected in job.

 On Export Custom Clearing Job provision for printing the selected codes for Medicinal
Plant, Formulation and Surface Material in Contact has been done.
 Below screenshot for your reference.

 In case while generating flat file if the required information for “Medicinal Plant”,
“Formulation” and “Surface Material in Contact” is not provided then application will
display below mentioned warning message.

  Changes related to CSV, XLSX , SJD and Quick Entry for including the newly added fields
which can be used for bulk data upload in Export Custom Clearing are updated.
