Free-grapher: Web Based Portal for
Multi-Media Business

Introduction

This day’s technology has risen to the extent that mobile technology also affects the lives

of the people, the importance of mobile technology in people lives mustn’t overestimated cause

of its impact on every industry, as well as how businesses are set up and how customers interact

with brands. Nowadays, there is a rising need for website that caters to specific needs, especially

in the context of multimedia enterprises, since smartphones are becoming more and more

common. The project's main emphasis is "Free-grapher," a ground-breaking website created to

close the gap in the multimedia commercial industry. (S. A. S. 2020)

Free-grapher aims to provide a one-stop platform for enterprises in the multimedia

industry by incorporating many capabilities required for their operations. The increased in

efficiency on crucial activities such as project management, client communication, and media

distribution was evident that utilizing mobile technologies has enveloped an outstanding result in

streamlined company procedures. (L. Y. W. 2023)

According to Azreen, Muhammad, (2021), Free-grapher will delve into the intricate

elements of Free-grapher's design and construction. It’ll combine insights and experiences from

industry leaders with a critical appraisal of the present multimedia business environment.

The goal is to create a reliable, user-friendly mobile app that adequately addresses the

specific issues that multimedia firms frequently face. And will identify and implement critical

Free-grapher features such as secure communication channels for clients, project tracking,

multimedia file sharing, and results analytics. Our focus remains on the app's usability,

scalability, and solidity, positioning it as more than simply a business tool but also a platform that

supports growth and technology-driven innovation in the sector.

This application will help the client to easily find and book the available photographer

near their area easily. Besides, the photographer can use this application as a platform for

marketing their services to potential clients. In addition, this application also recorded all the

booking data of the client for the photographer. Thus, there will be no data redundancy or

booking related issues.

Project Context

The Free-grapher entails creating a platform that lets people to access and use a range of
multimedia content. This platform intends to provide a variety of services, including picture
editing, video editing, graphic design, and audio editing, all in one accessible spot.
The primary purpose of Free-grapher is to meet the demands of professionals, freelancers, and
enterprises in the multimedia sector by providing a comprehensive range of tools and
capabilities. Users will be able to upload their media files, alter and enhance them using a user-
friendly interface, and then download or share the updated files.
Free-grapher improves the workflow of multimedia professionals by consolidating multimedia
editing tools into a single platform. To complete their responsibilities, users no longer need to
switch between numerous software apps or services. Professionals may save time, streamline
their operations, and focus on generating high-quality multimedia content by having all editing
tools in one place.
Overall, Free-grapher aspires to be a one-stop shop for the multimedia sector, catering to the
specific demands of experts, freelancers, and enterprises. Free-grapher helps users to express
their creativity and create outstanding multimedia material with its user-friendly interface,
extensive editing tools, and efficient file management features.

Purpose and Description

The purpose of Free-grapher, a web-based portal for multi-media business, is to provide

professionals, freelancers, and businesses in the multimedia industry with a comprehensive
platform to access and utilize various multimedia resources.
Users may access a wide range of multimedia materials, such as photographs, movies, graphics,
and audio files, straight from the site.
User-Friendly Interface: The platform has a user-friendly interface that allows users to easily
explore and use the various tools and features without requiring specialist technical skills or
substantial training.
File Upload and Management Users may simply upload and manage their media files using the
site. This includes the ability to organize files into folders, search and filter options, and the
creation of custom libraries for convenient access.
Editing and Enhancement Tools Free-grapher has a complete suite of editing and enhancement
tools for many media formats. Cropping, resizing, color correction, adding effects, and applying
filters to photographs, movies, and graphics are all options for users.
Users may cooperate with other users by sharing their multimedia assets and projects. The
platform facilitates file sharing, commenting, and version control, allowing for effective
cooperation and communication.
After users have modified and enhanced their media files, they may download or export them in
a variety of formats ideal for various uses, such as web-ready formats, high-resolution print
formats, or social media platform compatible formats.
Furthermore, Free-grapher will enable users to download or share their edited media files
directly from the platform, facilitating easier collaboration and distribution of multimedia

Objectives of the Study

The objective of the study on Free-grapher, a web-based portal for multi-media business, is to
identify the platform's goals and objectives, which may include improving user engagement,
increasing brand awareness, and generating leads or sales. The study may also assess the
effectiveness of the platform in meeting business objectives and identify areas for improvement.
By understanding the objectives of the study, stakeholders can better determine the value of the
platform and make informed decisions about its use and development.
The findings reveal that the post-digital freelance model is more linear than the hierarchical
staffer model and has a positive influence on workforce diversity, albeit at the expense of
freelancers’ professional development and their opportunities to receive feedback from editors.
