Jefferson County Clerk, Gizelle Meeks, along with records management vendor Info
Quick Solutions Inc. brings Fraud Alert Prevention to Jefferson County residents.
Jefferson County Clerk, Gizelle J. Meeks, is urging Jefferson County residents to activate Fraud Alerts through
our Info Quick Solutions Inc. vendor. This is a free service, with a one-time online signup. Once an account has
been activated, if a deed or mortgage is recorded in the Jefferson County Clerk’s office with the name(s)
registered, an email notification will be sent to applicant(s) alerting them of the activity.

In addition to Fraud Alerts electronically submitted to residents’ email, the Jefferson County Clerk’s office also
transmits paper notification to all residential property owners when a deed is recorded transferring their
property to another party. This is automatically mailed to the grantor(s) address as provided and residents do
not need to sign up to be notified of the property transfer.

Please note that the Jefferson County Clerk’s office operates from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
between September and June, while the office timings for July and August are from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The
aforementioned hours apply to all residents who wish to access county records in-house.
