Case Questions

1. What suggestions could you make to Billy Joe to improve his curriculum? Make a summary of your skills and
professional experiences, as being brief and concise will help you a lot to make your cv easy to understand.

Do you need to upgrade?

4
Unit #5
PROFESSIONAL THINKING

Yes, as it should only summarize the information, as well as include your education and skills. You can also further
customize the presentation of the resume as not all jobs are looking for the same skills.

2. What is your assessment of Billy Joe's method for writing a cover letter?

You need to be more personalized, because although I send 200 resumes, not all companies are looking for the same
skills and experience; you should know a little more about the vacancies you are trying to apply for in order to tailor
your skills and have your cv chosen for interview.

Conclusion:

What is the main challenge in today's job search?

Nowadays; work has been scarce for some companies so, the main challenge is to be able to be what the company is
looking for, to have the main knowledge they ask for, and also to be willing to learn, to know how to adapt to change
since many people do not want to leave their comfort zone, and this deprives them a little when looking for a job, we
must also have the necessary skills to perform in the position to which we are aspiring. Having good habits and
presentation help a little to complement all of this when looking for a job.
