The High Court (Circuits) Instrument, 2004.


(Under section 21 of the Judicature Statute, 1996 Statute No. 13 of 1996)

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Chief Justice by section 21 of the
Judicature Statute, 1996 and after consultation with the Principal Judge, this
Instrument is made this 30th day of July, 2003.

1. Title
This Instrument may be cited as the High Court (Circuits) Instrument, 2004.

2. Declaration of High Court Circuits


For the purposes of the Judicature Statute, 1996, the areas specified in the
Schedule to this Instrument shall be, High Court Circuits for the trial of civil and
criminal causes and for the disposal of other legal business—

(a) designated respectively by the names specified in column 1 of the


Schedule;

(b) comprising the areas defined opposite each of them in column 2; and

(c) covering the Magisterial areas in column 3 of the Schedule.
